Flordia Panthers defenceman Aaron Ekblad exited Game 3 against the Boston Bruins on Friday after colliding with Bruins defenceman Charlie McAvoy in the second period.
Ekblad went to the dressing room immediately after the collision but did initially return.
However, soon after his return he left for the dressing room once again and did not return.

He played 13:29 before leaving the game. Afterwards, head coach Paul Maurice said he would have an update on Ekblad’s condition on Saturday.
Ekblad had 14 goals and 38 points for the Panthers in 71 games this season.
He has no points and was a plus-one through the first two games of the Round 1 series.
The Bruins won the game 4-2 and now lead the series 2-1.
