OHL hands 10-game suspension to Attack’s Brack

TORONTO — Owen Sound Attack forward Justin Brack was given a 10-game suspension by the Ontario Hockey League on Friday for delivering an illegal check in a game against the Barrie Colts.

Brack checked a vulnerable opponent in the head and caused injury in Owen Sound’s 3-0 win last Wednesday, the league said.

The suspension is effective immediately.

Brack, a 19-year-old left-winger from Orangeville, Ont., has five goals, nine assists and 86 penalty minutes in 55 games this season.
