Ferdinand no longer speaks to Chelsea’s Terry

LONDON — Rio Ferdinand says he no longer talks to John Terry because his former England teammate has never apologized to him or his brother Anton over the racism scandal that scarred English football.

Terry was banned for four matches and fined for a racial slur against Anton Ferdinand during a Premier League match between Chelsea and Queens Park Rangers in November 2011.

Terry always insisted he was merely repeating an accusation of racism made by Ferdinand. Cleared in a criminal court of racial abuse, he has apologized for the incident via a statement.

In his autobiography #2sides, serialised in The Sun on Sunday, Ferdinand says "I no longer talk to him, but even three years later I find it impossible to forgive or forget the pain he put my family through."
