Apparently Zlatan Ibrahimovic is a man of few words.
The new LA Galaxy striker, whose move to Major League Soccer has been confirmed by the club, took out a full-page ad in Friday’s Los Angeles Times.
But, true to form, Ibra’s full-page ad is far from typical.
The Swedish sniper’s move to the United States has been rumoured since he left French giants Paris Saint-Germain following the 2016 season. However, Ibrahimovic instead signed with Manchester United, scoring 29 goals in 53 appearances for the Red Devils.
His first campaign with the United was cut short last April after a serious knee injury. Ibrahimovic was then released from his contract in June, and brought back by Jose Mourinho’s side in August. However, the addition of Belgian Romelu Lukaku meant Ibrahimovic saw little playing time since returning to the squad.
Whether the 36-year-old will make an impact on the pitch in MLS is yet to be seen, but he’s sure to bring some flair off of it.
