Canada's Fernandez and partner Townsend come up short in French Open doubles final

Canada's Leylah Fernandez and the U.S.A.'s Taylor Townsend weren't able to overcome a decisive lead in the third and final set against China's Xinyu Wang and Chinese Taipei's Su-Wei Hsieh, losing the women's doubles final 1-6, 7-6, 6-1.
