2016-17 NHL Suspension Tracker: Haley suspended for punch

The NHL’s department of player safety recently handed out a two-game suspension to Calgary Flames rookie Matthew Tkachuk for a nasty elbow that, uh, drew the ire of Drew Doughty.

Last season, 65 offending NHLers combined to forfeit more than $2.7 million due to reckless plays and off-ice decisions.
